Attention all SHRM 2008 attendees – check out what CareerBuilder.com has planned for next week

CareerBuilder.com SHRM 2008 Survival GuideSHRM is right around the corner. Being that the event is in our home town of Chicago, we are going all out to make this a memorable event for all who visit CareerBuilder.com booth #2031.

The first thing you want to do when you get to the exhibit hall is pick up a CareerBuilder.com SHRM Survival Guide. This kit contains tons of details about what to do in Chicago and has valuable coupons for Chicago-themed giveaways and grand prizes, including three Nintendo Wiis and three 4G Video iPods.

Don’t miss out on the informational sessions. While we want you to have fun, we also want you to learn something too. Check out the schedule of events.

For all you sports fans, or those of you just eager to meet a celebrity, William Perry “The Fridge” of the Chicago Bears is signing autographs from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday, June 23. The first 500 people who stop by the booth get a mini-football for him to sign. Come early as quantities are limited. Also get the chance to win an autographed jersey or autographed helmet while you wait.

Looking for a way to unwind during the craziness of the conference? We’ve got you covered. Stop by and play some games in our two Wii lounges or grab a drink at the open bar while listening to our guest DJ, Ron Taeger, during the conference opening session from 4 pm. to 7 p.m. on Sunday, June 22nd. Looking for something more refined? Sip on champagne in the Personified Green Room.

Need to vent? Check out the CareerBuilder.com Mobile Marketing Tour’s Venting Booth.

We are extremely exited about the event this year and look forward to seeing you there!
