Speaking of Super Bowl…(Spoiler Alert!) CareerBuilder.com Commercial
CareerBuilder.com leaked its Super Bowl ad yesterday. Check it out.
The ad marks the launch of CareerBuilder.com’s new 2009 marketing campaign – and it’s definitely representative of our off-beat humor. (Yes, humor. Down economy or not, the fact remains that many companies are still hiring right now – and Super Bowl viewers still want to be entertained).
Anyhoo, whether or not it’s your cup of tea, the ads are doing something right: In the three months following its Super Bowl advertising last year, CareerBuilder.com saw significant surges in job seeker traffic and behavior – including a 68 percent increase in job applications. But of course…I want to hear what you think.

WOW. That was really, really bad
I think it’s fun. We’ve all been there (esp. shouting/cursing in the car) Chris Kahle call’s the ad “pretty brillz” and I agree!

This ad campaign is awful. There are actually marketing executives at CareerBuilder that gave the green light on this ad campaign. I think it’s time to start firing these people who made the decision to spend 6 million for these two un-funny, lazy, and tasteless ads to run during the Superbowl.

Starts funny, but then punching small animals? Took a decent idea and it turned tasteless. Too bad. Thumbs down. And I hate saying that b/c I love you guys!
Funny, risky and a little shocking at the end. Memorable. Will attract more men than women to your site.
I love Super Bowl ads but the one with the screaming lady and other scenes reapeated over and over again is not catchy nor cleaver. Slugging a cute little bear is ugly. d
I think it’s amusing that CB didn’t air the best ad available during LAST year’s game, because it was, and I quote: “an election year, we didn’t want to rock the boat”. You know, being owned by the conservative newspapers and all. But it’s OK to air a spot as classless as this one? Too little, too late.
who is the hot blonde babe?
I thought the ad was great! Almost makes me want to look for a job.
WHOEVER THOUGHT THAT KOALA GETTING PUNCHED WASNT FUNNY…YOU’RE ALL IDIOTS!!! BECAUSE IT WAS HILARIOUS!!!
