2013 Hiring Trend: Employers Creating the Right Candidate

Employee trainingEmployers are taking measures to “re-skill” workers themselves, rather than waiting to find the perfect candidate. Thirty-nine percent of employers plan to train people who don’t have experience in their particular industry or field and hire them for positions within their organizations, up from 38 percent last year, according to CareerBuilder’s 2013 Hiring Forecast.

Glad to see employers decided to invest in workers rather than waiting for the perfect candidate because the truth be told there is not a perfect candidate for any job position in the workforce.
