Today, CareerBuilder announces the launch of its 2nd annual Big Strides in Small Business Award – a way to recognize the small businesses that have done a particularly spectacular job of empowering employment in their local community.
How to enter:
- What challenges are you currently facing in terms of finding qualified workers?
- What are you doing at your company to help train or re-skill those in your local community?
- What programs do you currently have in place to train or re-skill current employees?
Keep in mind… This is for CareerBuilder, not the Sundance Film Festival. Worry less about film production quality and more about telling your story in a way that is authentic, and communicates your commitment.
With that said…Keep it simple. Making a video doesn’t have to be complicated.
What the winner gets: The winner of the Big Strides in Small Business award will receive a 12-month CareerBuilder Recruitment Solution package – worth $10,000 – to use toward future employment efforts. This prize package also includes premium, one-on-one career services for 100 job seekers in your local community.
