Top 20 Cities for Temporary Job Growth

CareerBuilder and Economic Modeling Specialists, Inc. recently released a list of 20 metropolitan areas with greatest projected growth in temporary jobs through 2014. According to the study, Raleigh-Cary, N.C. is projected to have the most growth, with an estimated 1,303 temporary jobs to be added in the next two years, representing an increase of 13 percent.

The regions of Orlando-Kissimee-Sanford, Fla. and Indianapolis-Carmel, Ind. follow in second place and third place, respectively, each with an estimated 11 percent growth. Riverside-San Bernadino-Ontario, Calif. is projected to have 9 percent growth, as is Portland-Vancouver-Hillsoboro, Ore.-Wash. area, which rounds out the top five.The rest of the list follows in the graph below:
