Contrary to what many workers may believe (or hope), a promotion does not always translate to a pay increase. In fact, more often than not, a promotion stands alone. According to a recent CareerBuilder survey, nearly two-thirds of employers (63 percent) said that promotion at their firms don’t always entail pay increases.
