What makes you a unique recruiter among others with similar skills?
My Team. The recruiting and talent acquisition team we’ve assembled at Amotec Inc. is by far the most detailed, aggressive and ethically driven team I have had the pleasure of working with.
How do you demonstrate passion for your work or your profession?
Amotec Inc. strives for spirit, energy, teamwork and respect — both in our office and with our clients. We provide strong challenges and even better rewards for teamwork. Our teams create synergy and enthusiasm challenging each other on various recruiting assignments and celebrating the victories together. It could be as simple as one team cooking breakfast for another team or all of us going to the casino for a holiday event. When our teams see us getting involved at every turn, they not only see the passion, they become an integral part of the passion.

What are you doing to empower employment?
Amotec Inc. works within local communities with the unskilled, the under-skilled, individuals with disabilities and displaced veterans. We also have different charitable organizations we support and provide for each year.
We also offer skills shops to several of the local high schools to teach the younger generation what it takes to compete in the job market today.
In addition, Amotec Inc. offers a complete video library on our website that shows comical, but very real, scenarios that have been reported by our employees and clients. Each has some sort of lesson and offers strategic advice to the viewer.
Tell a story about a unique or special placement you made.
I was working with a client in the aerospace industry that required some very unique certifications. Our client was undergoing an audit, and a candidate they were looking at was paramount to the success of the audit for a very large piece of business they were trying to land. The challenge was that they were unable to afford the salary the candidate required, but still needed him badly. After speaking with the controller and the owner of the company, I gave up my fee so they would be able to meet the candidate’s requirement. Consequently, he helped them complete a successful audit, which generated significant growth for the company.
That was 13 years ago, and since then I have been recruiting for them for every position they need. I have truly been a partner with them and share in the growth they enjoy.
