I love using Twitter as a search engine. Much like the way recruiters use search strings to source passive candidates on Google, you can manipulate your queries on Twitter and tap into the best conversations on talent acquisition strategies.
Unfortunately, if you don’t know how to refine your searches, a hunt for “recruiting” on Twitter will give you conversations about everything from professional sports to college football to the ongoing war against terrorism.
So I’ve done the hard work for you. Here are some of the most useful recruiting-related tweets (so far) from the month of February.
Let’s kick things off with John Sumser. He’s a veteran of the staffing and recruiting industry. He’s no Pollyanna, which is why I love this tweet.

Stacy Donavan Zapar is an entrepreneur, employer branding legend, and social recruiting strategist. Her timeline is nothing but the good stuff. Here’s a recent gem:

Meanwhile, my good friend Lars Schmidt thinks the war for talent is over. He’s created a community where people can learn about successful recruiting tools and technology.

I also appreciate this tweet from Janine Truitt, who wonders why recruiters are always chasing the latest and greatest tech.

Finally, I love Twitter because it exposes me to different ways of thinking. Here is Josh Bersin of Deloitte giving us 10 talent-related predictions for 2016.
