As a project manager of CB Social, Bridget Maiellaro manages, analyzes, and develops the social media presences of companies across the United States, Canada, and the UK. Working as an extension of each client’s team, she’ll help them uncover their goals in the social space and craft an overarching strategy to achieve those business objectives on both day-to-day and long-term levels. Hailing from the University of Illinois, Bridget graduated with a degree in News-Editorial Journalism when the print industry was at the brink of decline. After one or two (or 20) panic attacks, she assessed her options and realized that social media was the way of the future. She jumped into the field full force, creating her own website and blog, and utilizing her educational background to break into the online sectors of local publications. In addition to her role at CareerBuilder, Bridget still remains true to her journalistic roots, contributing to a range of publications and multimedia projects via Web, magazine, newspaper, and print and electronic newsletters – most recently Chicago magazine.

Justin Thompson joins CareerBuilder as a project manager in the emerging media area, focusing on helping businesses identify opportunities through social media specifically. He has spent much of his career writing, even delving into the world of professional celebrity gossip, despite sounding like an oxymoron – yes, Virginia, there is such a thing. Prior to joining CB Social, Justin worked on both sides of the fence, having experience in agency and corporate environments. Working on one of the largest global QSR brands, he tackled the other mysterious art of public relations, writing, and pitching news stories to the media, and managing promotional and philanthropic events to secure successful coverage on behalf of clients. Once he went corporate, he became an in-house account manager. As part of the product marketing team, Justin assisted both internal and external audiences. His work included developing and writing marketing collateral, including e-mails, direct mail, and newsletters; writing ad copy and scripting video spots; creating incentive programs and automated processes for user engagement; and establishing a need for social media and web presence, eventually blogging on a regular basis. Yes, all of that and the other day-to-day duties typical of account management. Justin received his BA in advertising and public relations journalism from Franklin College in 2005.
