Seventy-Five Percent of Health Care Workers Believe They Aren’t Paid Enough

talent statisticsHealth care workers are among the most sought after talent in today’s labor market – and they’re also among the most unsatisfied with their pay.

According to new research from CareerBuilder, 75 percent of health care workers say they do not earn their desired salary – with 29 percent saying they do not make anywhere near it.

Dissatisfaction with pay could be a large part of the reason 34 percent of health care workers surveyed said they plan to look for a new job in 2013. These findings may serve as a wake-up call for health care employers hoping to attract – or retain – their top health care talent and force them to consider offering more competitive compensation.
